Adding Wallpaper to the Stairwell

Ugly beige walls is what used to greet you when you entered the house, stairs going down and two doors. Pretty basic. No pizzazz!

I got a folk art wallpaper mural at Total Wallcovering dot com. http://totalwallcovering.com/p13379/shelter-bay-wall-mural.aspx It has a crackle finish and even little bits of “spilled paint” to look like a real mural.

I chose to cover the beige walls a half-tone cream to match the creams in the mural. Then I chose Benjamin Moore’s “Azores” for the trim which works off the muted blue-greens in sea.
